Frequently asked questions.

What kind of services do you provide?

We provide online therapy for adults virtually on a HIPAA-compliant telehealth platform.

What are your specialties?

The practice serves clients with a variety of general mental health concerns, but some of our specialties include trauma, anxiety, life transitions, and depression. We have therapists that are trained in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), and Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP).

How much does it cost?

Our standard rate for an intake/first session or 55 minute session is $185, and 45 minute sessions are $150. A sliding scale is available. We accept major credit/debit cards, and FSA/HSA cards.

Will my insurance cover therapy?

The practice does accept most major insurance plans (Aetna, Optum, United Behavioral Health, United Health Care, Oxford, Oscar, Harvard Pilgrim, Point32Health, Cigna, and Horizon Blue Cross Blue Shield of NJ). Most insurance companies cover mental health treatment, but benefits vary by insurance plan. While the practice will contact your insurance company to verify your benefits, you should also call the number on the back of your insurance card to inquire as well. You will likely have a copayment or coinsurance or may need to meet a deductible. If we are out of network with your insurance company, superbills/receipts will be provided so that you can seek reimbursement from your insurance. Please inquire directly with your insurance company about whether or not you have out-of-network benefits.
